KaBoOM!Bomb the Snowies presents Cherry Bomb, an event which includes coaching and racing in the sports of Street Luge, Classic Luge and Gravity Bikes over two days. This is a Regional Championship race with place getters taking home points toward an Australian title. Bunnings Warehouse Sausage SizzleBunnings Warehouse has been kind enough to let BSL take over the Sausage Sizzle BBQ on Tuesday the 16th of April. Come on down and see the crew working the tongs between 8:00am & 3:30pm at the Carseldine store. All of the profit made from the fundraiser will be used to support the BSL Community. BSL Slalom Challenge 2013 - 12 October 2013The BSL Slalom Challenge is all booked and we can't wait. This is the 3rd year of the Slalom Challenge and it gets better every time. This year will be no exception with the slalom track now incorporating another 50 metres of length and 2 more turns. More gates, more complexity, more fun! Training Days are back for 2013!We are moving into our 3rd year of Street Luge Training Days now and they are still going strong. 2013 is set to be a great year for the sport and the Training Days will be here yet again to support it. Soon the heat of the Australian summer will subside and the Training Days will begin again. The Street Luge Training Days offer a Street Luge experience to the public for those who are keen to get involved in the sport or are just curious about it. Mt Keira Day 3 - RACE DAY
With a dryer track yesterday, all the racers saw massive improvements of around 20 seconds going into their second qualifier. Everything is now set and the racing is about to begin. Todays order of racing will be:

Trifecta of Awesomeness

Today we said Bon Voyage to Steve and Lance as they head off to represent Brisbane and Australia at this weekends World Championship event, the Mt Keira Downhill Challenge. As the rain pours in Wollongong we are all crossing our fingers for a dry weekend.
Steve & Lance will be joined by 8 other Brisbanite riders next weekend for Newtons Nation, the next leg of the IGSA World Championship circuit. This is set to be a fantastic event with great racing, awesome extreme sport entertainment and hot music. Click here for more information & to get tickets for Newtons Nation 2012.
And if that wasn't enough! After Newtons Nation, and in only 2 & a half weeks time, the trifecta of awesomness will crescendo with the best gravity event in Aus! The annual Beat the Bastard Charity Freeride is set to take over Mt Stuart in Townsville once again for 2 days unrivaled riding.
For those competing and spectating don't forget to send your footage through to Adam at BSLTV to be spliced into great event videos.
What a way to start the season, 3 great events in as many weeks, we can feel the excitement already! We wish all the competitors & riders from all disciplines the best of luck, ride hard & ride safe.

2011 IGSA Rulebook
We've got some big events coming up. So its time to make sure your equipment and safety gear is up to scratch. All riders (especially new riders) should take some time to look over the 2011 IGSA Rulebook making sure all your equipment meets the standards. Both IGSA world cup events will be run under these rules.
If you have any questions about your equipment please don't hesitate to contact ASRA or the IGSA. The last thing you want is to spend all this money and turn up at the event only to find out your gear doesn't meet tech.
